Three ways to get audio in
Upload a recording
Drop in an audio or video file from your phone, a voice recorder, or a call you saved. Most common formats work.
Record with the desktop app
A small app for Windows and macOS records your microphone and the other side of the call. Press record, press stop. It uploads when you're back online.
Dictate in the browser
Open the web app and talk. Good for notes after a client visit, before you forget the details.
Every account gets the same product
There is one tier. The features other tools hold back for enterprise plans are simply how Tymbr works, and the features that make other tools noisy are left out on purpose.
Standard
- Speaker identification on every transcript.
- Voiceprints, so people you meet often are named automatically. Opt-in, per person, with their consent.
- Editing, renaming speakers and export.
- MCP access, so your own AI agent can read your transcripts when you ask it to.
- Delete anything, any time, including the original audio.
Never
- No AI action items generated for you.
- No summary emails sent after every call.
- No bot joining your meetings under your name.
- No training on your recordings.
- No selling or sharing of your data.
Prepaid credit, not a subscription
That is about 25 hours of recording at today's rate. Your balance sits in your account in rand and only goes down when a recording is transcribed. The exact rate is shown in the app before each transcription, and it moves with our own costs, but credit you have already spent is never re-priced.

Your recordings, your account, your decision
Everything you upload is stored under your account alone and is never mixed with anyone else's. Original audio is kept unchanged so you can go back to it, and transcription runs on servers in the European Union. Voiceprints are biometric data, so they are encrypted, only created with consent, and deleted the moment you ask.
Tymbr is run by one person in South Africa, who is also its Information Officer. The privacy policy and PAIA and POPIA manual say exactly what is collected and why, in plain language.
